Thanksgiving

I have to do a lot of backtracking in the next couple of days to cover these holiday events. Not that I have procrastinated, I just haven't been home. We have been gone every weekend and every other week. It has literally been insane. None the less - here's how we started out.

We went to my dad and Renee's down in Park Valley and had Thanksgiving Day down there. The kids had a blast riding the 4-wheelers and playing on Grandpas air hockey table. Dad wants a re-match.

Then we went to Salt Lake and stayed with my brother, Wade and his family. We had another Thanksgiving with my mom and Pat. They came up from Las Vegas. Later on, we took the fam and took the Trax into downtown Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square. They were amazing! But funny story: On the Trax - into SLC. There was a guy on it as well with his family. No big deal except I was sitting right next to them and he decided to break out into Christmas song. Oh yes people, right on the train. I tried so hard not to laugh. I was floored - and then after the Christmas songs, he sang the alphabet. But not just the ABC song we all know - it was complete with vibrato and everything! Honestly I can not even begin to tell you what was going on in that mans head, I think he was hoping that there might have been a talent scout on the train and they were just about to make the most incredible discovery into Salt Lake that was going to change their lives forever. I'll tell you it definitely will be a story. But it was one of the most interesting things I have ever seen. Temple Square was beautiful and even with the hundreds of people there, you could feel peace. It was fun to take my kids to a place that we visited alot when I was young.
