St. Patty's Day

We have quite the mischievious leprachaun that comes to our house on St. Patricks Day. He managed to change our milk green, move the kids beds into the middle of their rooms, give them all Shamrock tatoos, and leave them gold coin chocolates all around the house. One of these days, we'll catch him in his tricky ways.

Night #2

The kids made this fort and it's the second night they have slept in it....oh yes, on school nights. The first night, only Jordan made it through the whole night. Tonight?....we shall see.

They go Paintballing!

Corban turned 11! I can't believe it. He decided to take Kobe, Alec and Skylar paintballing. John came back looking like he had rolled in the paint....oh wait, he did roll in the paint. Corban ate it through his helmet grid, and the they told story after story of all their combat adventures. We had pizza and cake afterwards. John wants to go for his big 4-0 next year. We took Krispy Kreme's to Corbans class and luckily had enough left over for us to have one too! It was a fun day and being the organized, good mom I am.... I forgot the camera. I really need to be better about that.

Christmas 2009!

Christmas Eve with the traditional 'pajama presents'. This year the boys got BSU pj bottoms and Jordan just got cute ones. My boys are such NERDS!

Checking out their stockings.
Jordan got an iron on gemstone shirt maker, kitty webkinz, playdough, tea party set, dolls, books, make-up, jewlery, clothes - you name it. She scored this year.

Jaron got two automatic air soft guns with over 10,000 pellets, a car that goes up walls, Halo lego guys, games, sword, craft projects and much much more.

Corban got a Compound bow, Halo guys, lego sets, lasers, books, games, swords - He did well this year.

We had such a FUN Christmas this year and we spent the whole day putting batteries in toys, taking them out of packages, reading instruction manuals, putting holes through the fence with the compound bow....oops, putting puzzles together, playing games, making shirts, eating, filling up garbage sacks and staying in our pj's ALL day. I love Christmas!

Sledding Hill style!

This is how the Hills sled. They had SO much fun. They had their crash course of what to do if they were headed for a mailbox and they felt like they were going faster than they really were. It was a blast!

I love this next picture because she looks like she is going really fast....but it's just the blur of the camera.

Also in Utah...

We went up to Park City with Grandma and Grandpa Guffey to their condo and went swimming. Wade, Angie, Blake and Jensen came as well. As always....a good time.

Utah!

While we were in Utah over the Thanksgiving trip, we decided to check out Hollywood Connection. I thought it would be fun to take the kids roller skating.....

Then, they started to get the hang of it.....

Let's just say - I don't think they'll be begging to go again anytime soon! Luckily we topped the night off with a magic show, bumper cars and icecream. Does it get any better than that?

Can we say Thanksgiving times 2!

We spent this years Thanksgiving at my dads in Park Valley. Check out that spread. So. so much food. So, so much leftovers. Mmmm. Of course who can get the Daniels together without playing cards. And there folks is the biggest card shark of them all. DAD. Amazing - he knows what cards I have in my hand before I do. The cousins also soaked their child stresses away in Grandpa & mas hot tub. Fun times.

Round two anyone? My mom and Pat started a tradition to have Thanksgiving the day after Thanksgiving. That sure makes it easier to get together and it ensures they get us every year.....lucky them! Ha ha. But they don't cook a regular 'ole turkey. Oh no, they cook an entire cow. They bring massive slabs of steaks that don't even fit on a plate. There were good times opening up early Christmas presents and spending time with the family. Corban loves his cousin Jensen - what a cutie!

Gettin' Jiggy with it

The kids had their 'Harvest Dance' at school and they just HAD to go. It ended up being really fun and I had a good time hanging with my girlfriend Ashley.

Karate

Jaron and I are almost done! We are just getting ready to test for our red belt and then we will test for our red/black belt and then....We will be feared first degree black belts. At this point, I think Jaron will be done. He already gets mad about how it's infringing upon his 'free time'. But once he's there, he loves it. I, on the other hand, would like to continue. Though on Monday, I am going to start Jui-Jitsu as well. I have made them promise me that I won't get cauliflower ear. Kickboxing, Karate, Jiu-Jitsu.....hmmm, no aggression issues here?

Zions

I love Southern Utah! This was the first time that we had taken the kids and we decided to take them up Angels Landing. It was a nail biter. First of all - They all made it up the first 2 miles no problem...even Jordan. She was amazing, she hiked the whole thing! and it's not exactly easy. Then John packed her for the chain section. I was the crazy mom constantly telling the kids..."two hands on the chain, no talking, pay attention". Then hoping that Jordan could still breathe because I had cinched her into the pack so tightly. Yup... Crazy mom. But, it was amazing and when it was all over, I was glad we had taken everyone up there. And they thought it was..."awesome".

This is how Jordan pretty much made it up (and down) the mountain. It's a good thing Dad has some 'big guns'.
